These terms apply to your use of this website and to buying, selling or sourcing a vehicle with Berkshire Cars and Commercials Ltd, 8 Fronds Park, Frouds Lane, Reading RG7 4LH. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Our stock is advertised on Auto Trader, and this website updates automatically from that feed. We work hard to keep vehicle details, prices and availability accurate, but listings are provided for general information and can change. A vehicle showing here is not a guaranteed offer of sale, and we recommend confirming the current price, specification and availability with us before travelling.
Prices are as advertised at the time of enquiry and may be inclusive or exclusive of VAT as indicated on the listing. Vehicles are sold subject to availability and on a first-come basis. We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in a listing or quotation.
A vehicle can be reserved by agreement, which may involve a deposit. Any deposit terms will be made clear to you at the time. A sale is only concluded once we have agreed the vehicle, price and terms with you and the balance has been paid in cleared funds. Ownership passes to you on full payment.
Our vehicles are used and are described honestly, including any notable features or history we're aware of. Each vehicle is HPI checked and comes with a 3-month warranty, and eligible vehicles include 12 months of AA breakdown cover. The specific warranty terms, what's covered and any conditions will be provided with your vehicle. We encourage you to inspect any vehicle, and to arrange an independent inspection if you wish, before purchase.
Any valuation we give for a vehicle you want to sell or part-exchange is based on the information you provide and is subject to us inspecting the vehicle. A final figure is confirmed once we have seen the vehicle and verified its details, condition and documentation. You confirm that any vehicle you sell to us is yours to sell and is free of outstanding finance unless disclosed and agreed.
Where we source a specific vehicle on your behalf, we'll agree the requirements and any terms with you first. Sourced vehicles are subject to availability in the wider market, and timescales are estimates.
Viewings are by appointment, 9am–6pm, seven days a week. Please contact us to arrange a time so we can have the vehicle ready for you.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
